Big McLargehuge was a popular star in the late 1960s through the 1970s. While he never landed a starring role in a major motion picture, he did play the leading man in a large number of B-movies, cementing his status as a cult movie star. His career took a downturn in the 1980s when his outspoken political views effectively saw him blacklisted for much of the decade, and his declining health made it difficult to do long shoots. His career has recently rebounded on television, where he's re-invented himself as a capable character actor with roles in several popular shows.
