Arachnos has long been harvesting technology and exotic materials from this dimension and others, all of it being processed and enhanced by the Orb Weavers. The result is the next-generation of Arachnobots, dubbed <i>'Darkshell'</i>. These spider drones are cutting-edge and integrated into a vast network of machines controlled directly by Weaver-1.
The mass-produced line of Darkshell are utilized for construction and mechanical maintenance in the tunnels below Grandville, but a swarm of them can take down larger targets with ease.
