Fractured Impression

Though little is known about the origins of the Apparitions, it is well-documented that they appear to be beings of energy which seem to be powered by pure hatred. They seem almost human at times, as a form can sometimes be discerned in the swirl of energy that makes up their bodies, but no one is quite sure whether this is an illusion or not. The Fractured Impression is the weakest type of Impression, with no ability to merge with others. They emerge from Spectres, either on their defeat or by splitting off the Spectre to lend it assistance.
